An Alsatian venture turned global ambition
Born in Strasbourg from a simple conviction, to design smarter, more energy-efficient servers, 2CRSi is now one of Europe’s most dynamic players in high-performance computing infrastructure.
Founded in Strasbourg
Alain and Michel Wilmouth founded 2CRSi (Consulting, Design, Research and IT Services) in Strasbourg.
In its very first year, the company signed its first contract with Dassault Aviation to supply simulators, laying the foundations for a trusted relationship that has lasted for more than 20 years.
The first DLC (Direct Liquid Cooling) solution was developed in-house.
The Early Foundations
2CRSi structured its growth around three major initiatives: the creation of its R&D division, the opening of its first US office, and the launch of its first in-house DLC solution, paving the way for its pioneering position in liquid cooling.
Second contract with Dassault Aviation
The relationship with Dassault Aviation was further strengthened with the signing of a ten-year contract for its flight simulators.
That same year, 2CRSi opens a subsidiary in the United States, marking the first step in its international expansion.
First OCP GPU Solution for Cloud Gaming
2CRSi deployed its first OCP GPU solution for a global cloud gaming provider (Shadow), demonstrating its ability to meet the computing demands of the most performance-intensive markets.
The same year, 2CRSi opened a production facility in California, USA.
IPO and Accelerated Growth
2CRSi listed on Euronext Paris (ticker: AL2SI), raising €50.3 million and marking a decisive milestone in its development.
That same year, the Group completed the year’s largest immersion-cooling deployment in the Oil & Gas sector with CGG and made its first contribution to the Open Compute Project (OCP) community.
External Growth and New Markets
2CRSi reached several major milestones in a single year: the acquisition of TranquilIT, a specialist in rugged IT solutions, and the opening of a production facility in Manchester.
The Group also acquired Boston Limited to strengthen its international sales presence, opened a data center in Paris with Green Data, and signed major contracts with BNP Paribas and Airbus.
HPC and Defense
2CRSi deployed HPC storage solutions for CERN and opened a data center campus in New York State, further strengthening its presence in the United States.
€73 Million Defense Contract
The Group secured a €73 million contract to supply an HPC and AI cluster for the defense sector, the largest order in its history at that time.
At the same time, 2CRSi launched OCtoPus 3, a cloud-focused solution developed in partnership with OVHcloud, becoming Europe’s first liquid-cooled OCP system.
Third 10-Year Contract with Dassault Aviation
The longstanding relationship with Dassault Aviation was renewed for the third time with a new ten-year agreement.
2CRSi sold Boston to refocus on its core business and accelerate its strategic shift toward Artificial Intelligence.
AI Goes into Production
2CRSi completed the first deployment of its HPC OCP DLC platform, delivering 10,000 cores per rack—a record.
The Group launched two new platforms dedicated to AI and HPC: the Godì 1.8ER, a reference HGX server, and the Atlas 1.8GG, a 1U server designed for AI inference.
Major contracts were also signed with Forschungszentrum Jülich and the University of Munich.
Launch at NVIDIA GTC Paris and Shift to Cloud
2CRSi unveiled its latest HGX platform, the Godì 1.8E2D-NVL8, at NVIDIA GTC Paris, designed for the most demanding AI workloads.
The Group launched 2CRSi Cloud Solutions, a new entity dedicated to AI cloud infrastructure.
Record contracts were secured in the United Kingdom ($54 million), Malaysia (€47 million), and California ($290 million).
Annual revenue reached €220.7 million, up 31%.
2CRSi Joins the ÆTHER Consortium
2CRSi joins the European AETHER consortium to develop sovereign AI Gigafactories at the heart of the European Union.
In June, the Group secured a €110 million order in Germany for 194 Godì Blackwell Ultra servers.
On July 23, 2026, 2CRSi announced record annual revenue of €416.2 million, up 88%, surpassing the €400 million milestone for the first time.
